Privacy Policy
We collect as little as we can, use it only to run the queue, and never sell it. Here are the details.
Who this covers
- Owners and staff — people who run a shop on queuze.com. For this data, Queuze decides how it’s used.
- Customers — people who join a shop’s queue. For this data the shop is in charge, and Queuze processes it on the shop’s behalf.
What we collect
From owners
- Email address and name (from your sign-in), and an optional profile photo.
- Your shop’s details: name, link, brand, queues, services, prices, settings and email templates.
- Billing status from Lemon Squeezy (plan, renewal date, invoices). Card details stay with Lemon Squeezy — we never receive them.
From staff
- The name typed at sign-in, the device type (for example “Chrome on Android”), and when the manage page was last open.
From customers
- The name entered when joining (optional), the service picked, and times: joined, called, served.
- An email address, only if given — used to say it’s your turn and to send one feedback email after the visit.
- A phone notification subscription, only if you allow notifications — used to say you’re next and that it’s your turn.
- A rating and comment, only if you leave a review.
Automatically
- Your browser stores small preferences locally (theme, your ticket for a queue, a sidebar setting). We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To run the queue: show places in line, notify customers, and let staff serve them.
- To give owners their history, analytics and reviews.
- To sign you in, keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and bill for plans.
- To answer support requests.
Other customers in the same line see only a first name or ticket number — never emails or full names. We don’t sell personal data and don’t use it for advertising.
Who helps us run Queuze
- Google Firebase — sign-in and database.
- Vercel — hosting the website.
- Resend — sending emails (sign-in codes and queue notifications).
- Lemon Squeezy — payments, invoices and tax, as merchant of record.
- Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft push services — delivering phone notifications you allowed.
These providers only process data to provide their service to us. Some are located outside your country; they protect data with industry-standard safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Customer visits are kept for the shop’s history until the owner deletes them or the shop.
- One-time sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes; review links after 7 days.
- When a shop or account is deleted, its data is removed within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
Your choices and rights
- Customers: every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn phone notifications off in your browser settings. To see or delete your visits, contact the shop — owners can delete a person’s data in one step — or write to us and we’ll pass it on.
- Owners: export everything from Settings → Export my data, edit or delete any shop, or ask us to delete your account.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your data. Contact us and we’ll help.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. Customer emails and reviews are visible only to the shop owner; staff access is protected by a PIN with lockouts after repeated wrong tries, and owners can sign everyone out at once.
Children
Queuze isn’t meant for children to create accounts. Customers of any age may join a line at a shop, usually without giving an email.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date above and tell owners by email.
